Just posted this on my gaming forum (bunch of guys do military scale models there), and figured I'd throw it up here as well.
I finished my first model in a few years. It took just under 2 months on and off to finish it - got it over the christmas holidays.
Overall I'm pretty happy with it - I'm still yet to decide on whether or not it's worth looking into an airbrush, so this one was painted with brushes. The "effects" and what not are a tad over done, more or less because I was experimenting and getting my hand back in with painting, but I don't think it turned out that bad considering.
So here she is, 1:72 scale MH-53E Sea Dragon
Next project is P40M Warhawk - currently about halfway done with it as it's nice and small _________________

looks rad Swordy, I hear airbrushes have a steep learning curve to get good at. _________________ "If it bleeds, we can kill it."

Warhawk is on the shelf... gotta get a photo of it
I'm in the middle of the Lancaster at the moment - once that's finished I'll get some photo's of both of them next to each other (the lanc is huge, even though its 1:72). _________________
